    Description
The tester is used to test the electrical circuits of a 13-pole socket with a voltage of 12V for cars and 13-pole plugs for trailers with a voltage of 12V.
It is necessary to insert a 9V battery (not part of the product) for operation.
Operating instructions - trailer fork check:
    1) Connect the tester to the fork (do not connect to the car at the same time!)
    2) Press the side button on the tester
    • If the red LED on the tester illuminates, the circuit is OK.
    • If no red LED illuminates, the ground cable is damaged or all trailer wiring bulbs are damaged (or the tester battery is exhausted).
    • If the LED is not lit on one of the circuits, the cable or bulb of that circuit is damaged.
Operating instructions - checking the car socket:
    1) Connect the tester to the car socket (do not connect the trailer at the same time!)
    2) Switch on the lighting of the vehicle you want to test
    • If the red LED on the tester lights up, the circuit is OK (the LED flashes for the turn signals).
    • If no red LED lights up, the socket cable - ground - is probably damaged.
    • If the red LED is not lit only for the circuit under test, the connection to the socket is faulty.
Note: This tester cannot be used for towing equipment sockets that have their own control unit (CANBUS). Never connect the tester to the towbar and trailer socket at the same time. Always measure the trailer and towing equipment of the vehicle separately.
